The Flowhead is the primary device for controlling the well and allowing the introduction of wireline.,mainly used for controlling the surface pressure andfluid and gas movement during drill stem testing, and more easy to release the formation overpressurein short time atthe beginning of well open.Can show the actual fluid movement in high pressure well testing as small resistance of fluid, not easy to block.
And the flowhead is full bore equipment to meet the tools through smoothly.When during the drill stem testing, Acid job, fracture Job, Stage cementing job, Reformatting job can also be processed without lifting out the string, can makethe job more coefficient,reduce working time.
The lower part of flowhead can be rotated with the string,and other control equipment on the surface keep unrotated, so the equipment of piping,drill floor manifold,datahead can be connected with flowhead before testing in order to keep working safe.The lower part of flowhead connect with testing string, bearing all the testing string weight(The max loading capacity is 1800kN when nopressure),when testing, the two wing 1502 Union connect with pipings,the fluid from the well through flowhead, piping to drillfloor manifold,then to the Kill line.
The basic designed flowhead incorporates four valves-master,swab,kill and flowline. The assembly also has a swivel to allow pipe rotation for manipulating downhole tools without turning the test head.The lifting sub is supplied with the flowhead allow rig elevators to raise and lower the flowhead in the derrick
